Eagan’s Sam Wolfe has accepted a scholarship to play college hockey at the University of Maine. The senior defenseman is the third Eagan player to commit to a Division I school this season as Michael Zajac and Eli May both gave verbal commitments to Princeton and Mankato State, respectively.
Wolfe has scored 23 points (2 goals, 21 assists) this season and has been an integral part of Eagan’s defense, which has been one of the stingiest in the state. Wolfe is the second Minnesota product to choose Maine as Eric Schurhamer of St. Thomas gave a verbal commitment last November.
