The future Michigan State Spartan has shown major progression over the course of the last couple of years, making one wonder if the sky is the limit for Draeger. Is an extremely confident player that plays the game at a very fast pace. He seemingly thinks the game much faster than his peers.

Draeger plays a shutdown defense using his long reach to interrupt offensive opportunities. He does a good job forcing opposing players to the outside, limiting their effectiveness. Draeger has shown major improvement in his offensive game as he’s becoming more of an offensive threat, but this is still an area than needs some work.

Overall Draeger is going to continue to get stronger as he grows into his large frame and he already has the tools to be a complete player. Draeger has a very high progression ceiling and with continued experience he’s a major sleeper for the 2012 NHL Draft next June.
