Cammarata is as dangerous as they come in the offensive zone, as he’s a threat to beat you with his shot, moves, or passing. Cammarata absolutely tore up at the USHL over the past two years, earning him the USA Hockey Junior Player of the Year Award in 2013. The future Minnesota Gopher scored 162 points in 119 career USHL games.

Cammarata’s puck control skills are what make him such a dangerous player; he often is creating space for his teammates or scoring opportunities for himself. Cammarata is an adequate skater with good agility. He has demonstrated his capability to turn on a dime and accelerate to open spaces quickly.

Cammarata skates with his head on a swivel, always surveying the ice for possibilities. Cammarata has a deceptively hard shot, which he can release quickly, and with many different looks. Occasionally, Cammarata gets a little bit too neat with his playmaking, but overall he has a great understanding of the game. Cammarata must continue to progress in the defensive zone as this could be an obstacle in his development.

While his small stature will keep him from getting drafted early, Cammarata could be a great value for franchise later in the draft.
